Aura Beauty is the vision of a lifelong passion. With a deep love for connection and nearly 20 years in the beauty industry, it was time to build a tangible space to uplift others in our community. Founded by Jessica Rae, Aura Beauty is a space of inspiration, motivated by the transformative power of helping others to feel beautiful.
Specializing in hair color transformations, scalp wellness, and invisible beaded extensions, we dedicate our time to delivering the industries highest quality services. We strive for an exceptional client experience, and a visit that always leaves you feeling your best.

Hey guys I’m Rae!!!
I’m the founder of Aura Beauty Salon & Scalp Spa, a Board-Certified Trichologist and Herbalist, and a lifelong believer that beauty and wellness are deeply connected.
Originally from New Jersey, i have spent my career in the beauty industry, but curiosity has always taken me far beyond the salon chair. I’m passionate about scalp health, hair loss, holistic wellness, and continuing education—Im constantly taking classes, earning another certification, or falling down a rabbit hole learning about something new.
When she I’m not dreaming up a new experience for Aura, you can usually find me traveling, painting, redesigning a room that probably didn’t need to be redesigned, or completely absorbed in a true-crime documentary. As an autism momma, mental health awareness and creating spaces where people feel comfortable, understood, and cared for are especially close to my heart.
I created Aura to be more than a beautiful salon and spa. My vision is a place where expertise meets curiosity, science meets nature, and luxury never feels intimidating. I believes that every person deserves to feel heard, cared for, and a little spoiled—and I’m dedicated to searching for new ways to make that happen.

Hello beauty!!!! I’m Sarah—a Wilmington, NC extension and hair replacement specialist!
My main love is helping women remember how beautiful and strong they are,
While feeling confident and at home in their hair, and after care plan.
I specialize in solution-driven hair extensions, toppers, thinning-hair support, scalp health, and luxury low-maintenance color, grounding techniques during appointment, and scalp spa experiences.
I’m here to help you feel like YOU again through my passion in the ever evolving beauty industry, and advocation of mental health and well being. Every service is thoughtfully customized to you—your natural density, your lifestyle, your maintenance preferences, and your long-term hair goals. My approach is all about making sure your hair enhances your life, not adds stress to it, while also honoring the connection between how we feel and how we show up in the world.

Hi, I’m Krissy! I’m originally from Long Island, and I’m a little bit obsessed with all things pink, cute, and sparkly I’m also a big animal lover and love roller skating whenever I get the chance!
Since moving to North Carolina, I’ve been soaking up the sunshine, meeting so many sweet people, and loving every bit of this new chapter. I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2020, and it truly makes me so happy getting to help people feel confident, pretty, and like the best version of themselves.
I love all things hair and makeup, especially vivid colors, soft highlights, cute layered cuts, scalp spa and anything that brings your Pinterest board to life. Whether you want soft & girly or bold & playful, I’m your girl!

I’m a precision cutting stylist thats bringing something different to Wilmington NC.
I throughout my 13 years of experience, I’ve grown to be a true believer that a great haircut starts with healthy scalp and an experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, your nervous system cared for, and realignment inside and out.
I’m passionate about personalized tailored men’s cuts, lived-In layered luxury cuts, relaxing head spa services, true customized luxury experiences, and taking a holistic approach to scalp health.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me dancing, chasing sunsets with coffee in hand, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with my hubby and fur baby, Tico.

One of my biggest passions is doing hair because I love helping others feel confident and beautiful. It’s just the best ever!
My favorite services to offer are dimensional color work, creating updos, and watching a customized look can bring out someone’s personality.
